Let me introduce myself: I’m Amber, hi! Historical fashion, costuming and sewing have been apart of my life since I was 10. It wasn’t until recently that I started to piece together more of the identities that make up who I am, and part of that process was catalyzed by my deep love of making. I quickly learned that I really loved sharing what I learned and what I was working through in my videos, because making is how we fundamentally make sense of the world as creative people. It’s how we process history so we learn and grow from it, how we learn about others, and how we understand ourselves. Join me as we ponder the bigger questions that arise from sewing pieces of the past, or just from bringing our own internal worlds into reality.
